Ill give this 5 stars if they fix the wi-fi to computer connection. I have a MacBook Pro and my other comic apps have no problem connecting with wi-fi. Please fix.

This app cant open files from Drive without some finagling, not worth it. Just get Chunky and save yourself some $.

Thank you for being such a lovely comic reader. Not only do you do the job well, you actually are more efficient than other readers out there. I love the little organizing features. Keep it up! Youre neat.

Ive been using this app since I got my first iPhone, but never wrote a review for some reason. Its always had its share of problems, but this guy obviously cares about making the best iPhone comic reader app in the store. It does everything you need it to do in a simple, easy to understand way. Loading comics became so much easier upon integration with iTunes, I have nightmares about the days of using comiczealsync on my PC. Free updates are a regular thing and they arent always perfect, but its overall been getting better over the years. My most used app by far. Highly recommended for comic book fans who like to read on the go

I LOVE this app for my iPhone. I was biding my time with terrible reader apps hoping and praying that it would become available for the iPad. Thank goodness it did! I can read all of my comics in any format which I couldnt before. This app perfectly organizes and displays all (40 gigs right now)of my currently loaded comics beautifully and with ease. (I love the slider!) I have yet to come across any technical issues and I am currently running ios 9.2. Best money Ive spent on an app! You wont be disappointed.

I have put off writing a negative review as for years now Ive used and loved this app. Unfortunately (with reasonable explanation from the developer) this app has taken a backseat and the release last year truly hindered the ability to use the app. Performance issues and crashes are a daily occurrence. I dealt with it for 4 months now. The app "was" fantastic, unfortunately the constant crashing of the app in mid page turns on multiple devices has lead me to look at other readers. I will be checking back frequently to see if this app takes a positive swing in the future. I have no complaints about the cost I originally paid for this app nor the Dev team working on this (I believe is a team of 1 man). Product was well worth the cost, unfortunately its time to move on to another app for my comic reading. Good luck in the future, thanks for the efforts you put into this app.

This is by far the best comic reader available on iOS, no contest. Its got the best UI, best organizational features, cloud import (Dropbox, et al), etc - and if you also happen to have an iPad Pro, the reading experience is unmatched. The only thing that keeps me from giving a full 5 stars is the inability to delete pages (like ads) or manually select your cover pages (for comics that include variant covers).

Ive had this app for many years, ever since I purchased my first iPad. However, now this app has many problems that really are disappointing because this is really the only comic reading app I enjoyed using. I have constant crashes on my iPad Pro and the app will gets stuck in a crashing loop, so that I cannot restart it, and the only way to is to continually bring the app back up and try to finagle my way out of the comic thats causing it to crash -- it is incredibly tedious. Really disappointed, Ive loved this app for years and its the only way I read comics anymore.

If I could move all my comics into my iCloud Drive within the app it would be fantastic! When I import the book in my iPad, having it push that into a folder in my iCloud Drive so I could read it on my iPhone or computer that would be 5 stars!!!

Ive been using Comic Zeal for such a long time that I cant recall when I started! Its the best comic app that Ive used, and I absolutely love it. The options available for sorting & organization are really nice, and the "look and feel" of the whole thing are great. Even better, the guy behind the app seems to really care :)

Why is it that I already paid 5 dollars for this app and now they want more? Thats a bit insane!

My ComicZeal has now crashed for the second time in the six. Months Ive had it. The first time I lost EVERYTHING I had. This time there is a giant blank spot covering a third of my screen that cannot be fixed. ComicZeal offers zero customer support. Avoid this app at all costs.

Works great on the iPad PRO! It’s like reading full sized comics!!!! (Single pages ARE full size!) Great app for reading and sorting and storing digital comics. This is worth buying. I used to have this rated with 5 stars BUT while it works on my iPad Pro I’m having a problem that many people are complaining about in the forum: When loading the app it asks for your iTunes Store password and won’t let you past that spot unless you login and if you are NOT on WiFi this is a problem; many people are having to reboot to get out of this spot. The author has been unresponsive in the forums for months so not sure what is going on of if they are even supporting the app any more (no communication in the support pages for 5 months). I’ve switched to Chunky which has great features for free (and even more AWESOME features if you pay the in-app purchase, which is still less than the cost of Comic Zeal)) Reading is very easy and does a great job of page turning/flipping (you can make it so “flips” are instant (this is important for some comics). It’s very fast too. It handles rotation and zooming and scrolling very very well. It’s a great app and I love it, I gave it 5 stars. I’m pointing out some of the difficulties below, since it’s a $5 app I thought I’d get a little nitpicky before you buy it. The menu is a slightly different interface than many other iPad apps, but you’ll get used to it. Selecting and sorting is different in a way that KIND of makes sense, but the standard delete (swipe to left) isn’t supported. If you swipe wrong it actually tells you not to swipe that way instead of just doing the swipe which is kind of strange (it seems like they only support one kind of swipe so why they are particular, I’m not sure). You have to drag your comics over via iTunes. You can sort of get to your DropBox/Box files, but it’s inconvenient, from that app and download and select “open in…” but it’s awkward and slow, especially if you want to do more than one.

Not user friendly No explanation of how to download or import your comics ive been trying for 4 hours to get it to work no recourse or info anywhere bad app

Since getting back into comics and finding a major crash bug being fixed, Ive been using this app a ton again. The developer has done a great job with keeping the app modern and it just plain works. My favorite feature is being able to import comics via the share sheet - I can tap that, select the DS file app for my synology and download my comics from my NAS. I only wish there was an easier way to bulk import comics for a folder from just the phone, but that may be outside the ability of this app and more on the other file management apps. Keep up the great work!

I have used this app for almost half a decade now. I have watched to grow and get better with each release. Until recently I had no idea that the company that produces it was a one man show. Which is mind blowing If you look at what this app can do and has been doing for the last five years!! Its the best comic book reader on the market. I love this program and have used it on all my mobile devices. Its one of the programs I download first when I get a new phone or tablet. Must have app for every iOS user!!

This app is pretty amazing, Ive been using it for a long time and it continues to be supported by one seemingly tireless developer. Kudos to you sir for all your efforts. Your hard work is appreciated. It works better and has more features than any of the alternatives. If youre on the fence because of the cost just go for it, you will not regret it.

Will not import from iTunes after last update. Authors dont seem to respond. Looks like Abandonware now.
